Low Back Pain
Pain in the lower back affect people in different ways. There are many different things that can cause the low back to hurt. The causes can be a herniated disc, strain and sprain of the back, facet syndrome or subluxation*. This list is not all inclusive, but these are some of the more common causes. Chiropractors are able to distingish between the different causes to provide the correct treatment.
The following symptoms are some of the most common, but everyone is different and can have different symptoms.
Symptoms:
- Sharp or Dull pain
- Pain is located in a specific spot or the whole back
- Pain shooting down the leg
- Muscle soreness
- Pain is aggravated during movement
- Stiffness
The treatment of low back pain can vary due to the cause. The best option is to have Dr. Henderson perform an exam to determine the cause of the pain. At that point a treatment could be suggested.
